Highlighted Miami Foundation Scholarships
College Assistance Program (CAP, Inc.)
CAP, Inc. awards scholarships to Miami-Dade County Public High School graduates who have exhausted all avenues of financial assistance (federal, state, and institutional) but still have significant unmet needs to attend the college of their choice.
Judge Sidney M. Aronovitz Memorial Scholarship
The Aronovitz Family partnered with The Miami Foundation to honor the memory of the late Judge Sidney M. Aronovitz. Scholarships are awarded to Miami-Dade County minority students planning to continue their education through the university-level and pursue a career related to the legal field or social-justice issues.
Ortega Foundation Scholarship
Established to honor Jose Antonio Ortega, Sr., this scholarship supports academically accomplished Miami-Dade high-school seniors with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Awards help high-achieving local students pursue higher education opportunities that reflect their dedication and academic potential.
Coral Gables Community Foundation Scholarships
The Coral Gables Community Foundation administers more than 20 unique scholarships for graduating high-school seniors across Miami-Dade County. These awards support students pursuing fields such as law, medicine, nursing, journalism, leadership, historic preservation, golf, soccer, and more. Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $20,000.

Coral Gables Community Foundation Four-Year Scholarship
Established by the Coral Gables Community Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2015, this 4-year scholarship is given annually to Coral Gables High School seniors who have demonstrated overall academic achievement and dedication to service within the school and in his/her community. The Foundation also considers applicants’ financial need and personal experiences.
Rotary Foundation of Coral Gables Scholarship Fund
Multiple academic scholarships are available to Coral Gables High School seniors. Scholarships will be awarded based on community service, strong academic performance, demonstration of leadership, integrity, financial need and potential to achieve career goals.
The Garcia Perseverance Scholarship
Created in 2015, this scholarship supports students who have overcome significant challenges and shown resilience on their path to higher education.The Garcia Perseverance Scholarship is designed as a supplemental scholarship that will help recipients attending state schools in Florida fill unmet financial needs.
